PLUMSTED – In 2016, the home belonging to the Canto family of Plumsted Township burned down and the entire town and residents of neighboring communities helped the family in many ways.

As a way of showing appreciation to and thanking everyone who provided assistance at that time, the family is inviting everyone to a barbecue that will be held from noon to 10 p.m. Aug. 17 at 346 E. Millstream Road, Plumsted.

The Canto family said anyone who wants to attend the barbecue is welcome to do so, even if it is just to grab food and go.
