Billy Penn and The Inside Drivers will perform at the Second Saturday Concert at 2:30 p.m. on Sept. 14 at the Old Bridge Library, 1 Old Bridge Plaza, at the intersection of Route 516 and Cottrell Road, Old Bridge.
The Inside Drivers authentically create a “Rockabilly” sound and feature Billy Penn on guitar/lead vocals, Alan Gowa on bass/backing vocals, Craig Hoek on saxophone and Tom Corea on drums/backing vocals. The band pays tribute to the legendary artists of Sun Records including Elvis Presley, Carl Perkins, Jerry Lee Lewis, Roy Orbison and Johnny Cash. Songs from some lesser known artists such as Billy Lee Riley, Willie Nix, Howlin’ Wolf and Sonny Burgess are also included in the show.
Audience members are encouraged to bring a non-perishable, unexpired donation for the Old Bridge Food Bank to the free concert.
