Local authorities arrest four on drug charges Trenton

Four Trenton men were arrested and charged with assorted drug-related offenses, following a month-long investigation by the Mercer County Narcotics Task Force that concluded in the early morning hours of Aug. 22.

The Mercer County Narcotics Task Force, which includes the Princeton Police Department, arrested Peter McCray – the target of the investigation – and three men who were living in McCray’s apartment on New York Avenue in Trenton, according to the Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office.

Mercer County Narcotics Task Force detectives, who carried out search warrants at McCray’s apartment, seized 50 grams of cocaine valued at $5,000, a bundle of heroin, a loaded .32-caliber handgun, and $660 in cash.

McCray, 61, was charged with assorted narcotics offenses, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose and certain persons not to possess a firearm, the Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office said.

Alejandro Gil-Perez, 37, Misael Auceda-Eureda, 31, and Felix Vindas, 41, were each charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance and distribution of a controlled dangerous substance, the Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office said.

Officers with the Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office, the Mercer County Sheriff’s Office, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, and the Princeton, Hamilton, Ewing and Trenton police departments assisted with the investigation. They were under the command of the Mercer County Prosecutor’s Special Investigations Unit.
