Code Ninjas opens in Old Bridge

Code Ninjas celebrated the grand opening of its Old Bridge location on Aug. 17. The open house celebration allowed parents and children to tour the facility and discuss curriculum with owners Sarita and Deepak KC.

Code Ninjas lets children ages 7-14 learn to code by building video games, and offers a game-based curriculum made up of nine belts, just like martial arts. The curriculum is self-paced, but not self-taught; students are assisted by Code Senseis (tutors) as they advance from white to black belt. “Belt-Up” celebrations offer children color-coded wristbands to mark their graduation to the next level.

In addition to classes, Code Ninjas offers weeknight drop-in programs, camps, birthday parties, after school programs and Parent’s Night Out events.

The Old Bridge location is at 3873 Route 516 East. The phone number is 732-661-8856. Center hours are 3-8 p.m. Tuesday-Friday and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.
