South Brunswick dedicates Santowasso Way for veteran

The Township of South Brunswick dedicated Santowasso Way at the intersection of New Road and Friendship Road on Aug. 30. Anthony Santowasso was a 30-year veteran of the South Brunswick Police Department, retiring as a lieutenant. He commanded the Patrol Division. He was also a member of both the Monmouth Junction First Aid and Fire companies. He was a member of the 400 Club and responded to 434 first aid calls as a volunteer in 2003. In addition to his active duty he served two additional years in the U.S. Navy Reserve. He is a lifelong resident of South Brunswick.
