The Howell Chamber of Commerce has announced the 2019 Community Award honorees. They will be honored at the 39th annual awards dinner, With CommUNITY Comes Unity. The event will be held at 6 p.m. Oct. 25 at Eagle Oaks Country Club, Howell.

The 2019 honorees are:

• Citizen of the Year: Christa Riddle, Howell Alliance Coordinator;

• Business of the Year: ProCare Rehabilitation, LLC, Steve Friedeman;

• Shining Star: Jenna Ribon, K-8  District Student Assistance Counselor, Anti-Bullying Coordinator for the Howell K-8 School District;

• Service Organization of the Year: Optimist Club of Howell, John Alliano;

• Making a Difference Award: Jason Rivera, CFC Loud n’ Clear Foundation;

• Howell Ambassador for the Performing Arts: Joe Cantaffa, instructor, Howell High School Fine and Performing Arts magnet program; founder, creative director and arranger of the Rock n’ Roll Chorus;

• Shining Brightly Youth: Steven Sayegh, Monmouth County finalist, New Jersey Shout Down Drugs Competition.

Event tickets, sponsorships and ad journal opportunities are available through the Howell Chamber of Commerce. The evening includes open bar cocktail hour, award presentations, entertainment, music, dancing, dinner and silent auction. Tickets are $95 per person. Princeton Ballet School, the official school of American Repertory Ballet, offers a
variety of dance classes through its open enrollment program at its Princeton, Cranbury and New Brunswick studio locations. Students may choose from beginner, intermediate and advanced ballet, as well as contemporary dance, hip-hop, tap, Bharatanatyam, flamenco, cardio ballet and more. No experience is needed for beginner levels. Open classes are intended for students age 13 and over. Dancers may drop in for one class or enroll in a
series of classes. All levels are welcome. For class schedules or to register, call 609-921-7758.

 

Christopher Anthony, regional vice president of Weichert, Realtors, announced that sales associate Marguerite Villante with the Jackson office has been recognized for outstanding industry success in August. A top producer, Villante led the Weichert sales region for dollar volume during the month. The Weichert sales region is comprised of locations throughout Middlesex, Monmouth and Ocean counties. Weichert’s Jackson office is at 2110 West County Line Road.
