EAST BRUNSWICK–A vehicle crashed into the Good Guy Vapes store on Route 18 in East Brunswick on Sept. 13 after a chain reaction.
A vehicle was making a right turn into the shopping center 582 Route 18 around 9:32 a.m., according to information provided by the East Brunswick Police Department. As the vehicle turned there were pedestrians reportedly walking which the driver allegedly yielded to, which caused the vehicle immediately behind it to stop, according to police.
The vehicle that stopped in the right lane behind the vehicle that was turning was struck by a dump truck. The impact on the vehicle sent it into the building, according to police.
No one was seriously hurt in the crash or in the building. The driver of the vehicle suffered minor back injuries.
The driver of the dump truck was not charged with a crime and only issued motor vehicle summonses, according to police.
