Mansfield Township Police Department: Armed robbery at pharmacy

Officials from the Mansfield Township Police Department are encouraging help from the public to identify a male who allegedly robbed a local pharmacy.

On Sept. 13 at approximately 7:45 p.m., officials said police were dispatched to Boyd’s Pharmacy in Homestead Plaza II on Columbus Road for a reported armed robbery.

Officials reported that a black male armed with a knife entered the business and demanded employees give him prescription narcotics. The suspect was wearing a black Nike hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and white sneakers, police said. Another distinguishing characteristic was that the suspect had bandages on his face, according to police.
