East Brunswick AARP Chapter 4855 will hold a general meeting at 10:30 a.m. on Oct. 8 in the East Brunswick Firehouse, Civic Center Station, 310 Rues Lane.
Guest speaker Gladys Williams of NJ AARP Speakers Bureau will speak on protecting against frauds and scams which victimize many seniors. Topics include identity theft, fraudulent charities, “grandchildren” impersonations, and tech support schemes.
Refreshments and a brief general meeting will follow the presentation. Guests are welcome.
