Share post:

The Friends of Princeton Nursery Lands will meet at 7:30 p.m. on Oct. 3 at the Kingston Firehouse, 8 Heathcote Road, Kingston.

In 1913, William Flemer Sr. bought three farms in Kingston to expand his Springfield nursery. From that beginning, Princeton Nurseries grew to produce ornamental plants. Four generations of the Flemer family, together with many of their Kingston neighbors, lived and worked there.

Bill Flemer IV will tell the story of the people and the land that make up that history.
