Students, leaders attend rally at Middlesex County College to promote 2020 census, election

Middlesex County Freeholder Director Ronald G. Rios joined New Jersey Secretary of State Tahesha Way and fellow community leaders for a rally at Middlesex County College in which they urged students to become involved in elections and in the upcoming 2020 census. The event, in honor of Constitution Day on Sept. 17, is a kickoff to a multi-year schedule of programs designed to get MCC students civically engaged in their communities and in the democratic process.

The rally included a visit from the Passaic County Community College Panther, as well as the kick off of Ballot Bowl, a contest among New Jersey colleges to see who could register the most new voters.
