12th Man TD Club announces players of the week for week three

The 12th Man TD Club of Robbinsville has selected the players of the week for week three of the high school football season. The list of honorees is below.

Offensive Back of the Week

Will Laster, Steinert High School (Sr., RB)

Laster had 286 yards rushing, 26 yards receiving and three rushing touchdowns in a 28-21 victory over Allentown High School. A ton of his yards came after contact. “Without Will we don’t come close to winning this game,” said Steinert coach Dan Caruso. “He is our offense.” 

Offensive Lineman of the Week

Kevin Wigenton, Hun School (Jr., G)

Wigenton had eight pancakes in a 58-20 victory over Capital Prep of Connecticut.

Defensive Lineman of the Week

Chris McRae, Nottingham High School (Jr., LB)

McRae had nine tackles and two interceptions in a shutout victory over Trenton Central High School. 

Defensive Back of the Week

Matt Kildea, Lawrence High School (Sr., LB)

Kildea had six solo tackles, seven assists, one sack, three tackles for a loss and one touchdown catch in a victory over Hightstown High School.

Special Teams Player of the Week

Cole Pinto, Hopewell Valley Central High School (Jr., K)

Pinto went six for six on extra points and kicked a 25-yard field goal in a victory over Ewing High School.
