Princeton Ballet School, the official school of American Repertory Ballet, is offering Bharatanatyam dance classes through its Dances of the World program.
The class will be taught from 12:15-1:15 p.m. on Wednesdays in three sessions from Oct. 16-30 at the school’s Princeton studio, 301 N. Harrison St.
The classes will be taught by Supriya Hariprasad, an award-winning dancer and teacher of the Pandanallur style of Bharatanatyam.
Classes are intended for students age 13 and older.

The 6-acre cornfield at Von Thun’s Country Farm Market in South Brunswick has a different, fun theme carved into it each year.
The 2019 maze theme celebrates the 150th anniversary of college football and the two teams who started this American tradition, Rutgers and Princeton universities.
The maze takes approximately 35 to 45 minutes to walk through.
Admission to the maze is included with Fall Festival Weekend admission. The maze is also open from 1-5 p.m. weekdays; buy tickets at the Farm Market. There is a Moonlight Maze as well.

The Township of North Brunswick will celebrate its 240th anniversary with its fourth Community Gala on Oct. 18 at the Heldrich in New Brunswick, including a cocktail reception with an open bar, a dinner, entertainment and an awards program.
This year’s gala pays tribute to six community volunteers for their distinguished service to the community: Jocelyn Caffrey, Joseph “Pete” Clark, Thelma Comparato, James Grieco, the Rev. Mark McGrath and Evelyn Smirnow.
Proceeds will continue the preservation and renovation of the Pulda Farmhouse and the launch of an effort to create and place historical markers at sites of notable interest throughout the township.
