The East Brunswick Ghost Walk tour, located in the historic Old Bridge village section of town lasts about 90 minutes, rain or shine, beginning at 7:30 p.m. each Saturday at 5 Pine St. at the Old Bridge Volunteer Fire Company, East Brunswick. For GPS directions, use 21 Kossman St. as the central point of the historic village.
The tour is appropriate for ages eight and above, and are wheelchair- and stroller-friendly. Flashlights and cameras are recommended.

The series begins on Oct. 13 as the Ballroom Dream Dance Studio presents a dance workshop on Bachata for ages 18 and up.
East Brunswick choreographer Phil Solomon leads a hip hop dance class on Nov. 10 for ages eight and up.
The series ends on Nov. 17 with an Israeli dance workshop. Led by Vera Galleid, the program shares circle, line and partner dances set to Israeli music, for ages eight and up.
All three dance workshops start at 12:30 p.m. These programs are free and open to the public.

Middlesex County invites all of Monroe’s adult communities to participate in the Fall Harvest Food Drive. The initiative is a coordinated effort among Middlesex County, MCFOODS (Middlesex County Food Organization and Outreach Distribution Services), the Middlesex County Improvement Authority (MCIA), Feeding Middlesex County, and the Monroe Township Department of Public Works.
Items will be collected by the Monroe Department of Public Works on Oct. 21. Place nonperishable donations in a bag or box near your mailbox. The Monroe DPW will pick up your items between and 8 a.m. and 3 p.m.
The most needed items include canned chicken, cereal, macaroni and cheese, canned meats, canned pasta, low sodium vegetables, low sugar fruits, diapers and wipes, low sodium stew, granola bars, rice, pasta, dry beans, paper products, soap, shampoo and toothpaste.
All items should be canned and packaged goods only. No glass items will be accepted.
