EDISON – The Edison Arts Society (EAS) received a $5,000 grant from Investors Foundation at the Amboy Avenue branch toward the expansion of the Edison Arts Society Sculpture Garden with a “Spring In Repose” sculpture at Lake Papaianni Park in Edison.

The grant will help further EAS’ mission to cultivate a love for all the arts – dance, music, poetry, visual and performing arts.

EAS President Gloria Dittman said the “Spring in Repose” sculpture is a statue of a mermaid with flowers cascading throughout her hair while lying on a bed of water lilies.
