Guitarist will perform at Old Bridge Library on Oct. 12

The Old Bridge Public Library will welcome instrumental guitarist Peter Biedermann as part of the Second Saturday Concert Series at 2:30 p.m. on Oct. 12 at the library, 1 Old Bridge Plaza, Old Bridge.

Biedermann is a solo contemporary guitarist based in Green Valley, Arizona, who has been composing and performing for more than 40 years. His music crosses many genres, with a hybrid, contemporary style combining elements of American and European folk with jazz and blues influences. He often performs in intimate settings such as libraries, art galleries, coffee houses and churches, according to information provided by the library.

During the concert, Biedermann will focus on new pieces as well as material from his previous solo recordings on a variety of guitars in unique tunings.

Attendees are requested to bring a non-perishable, unexpired item for donation to the Old Bridge Food Bank to this free event.
