Saint Peter’s University Hospital will hold its annual Breast Reconstruction Awareness (BRA) Day from 3-5 p.m. on Oct. 16 in the Sister Marie de Pazzi Conference Center, 254 Easton Ave., New Brunswick.
In observance of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Saint Peter’s spotlights the importance of educating all women about the variety of breast reconstruction options available to them following breast cancer surgery.
There will be guest speakers; active storytelling; poetry readings and original artwork by breast cancer patients, nurses, physicians and caregivers; a visit by the North Brunswick Police Department pink patrol car.
