Henrietta Sushereba, 94, of Rossmoor, passed away on Sunday, October 6, 2019, at The Elms of Cranbury.
Born in Saranac Falls, NY, she was formally of Cranbury for many years before moving to Monroe Township in 1988. She was a well-known teacher in Monroe Township, Applegarth and Barkley Brook Schools.
Henrietta was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Cranbury for over 50 years. She was very active with the Women’s Club of Cranbury just up until two years ago.
Predeceased by her daughter, Rev. Wendy White Thode; her husband, Theodore E. Sushereba; her sister and brother-in-law, Joe and Maryminta Konrad; and her sister, Ella Jeanette White; she is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Heidi Wilson Knowlton and Cabot Knowlton; her three grandchildren, Anne, Ted (Erica) and Betsy; her two great-grandchildren, Turner Wendy and Marin; and her several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 12, 2019, at 11:00 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church of Cranbury, 22 South Main Street, Cranbury, NJ 08512.
Interment will follow at Brainerd Cemetery in Cranbury, NJ.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Henrietta’s memory to the First Presbyterian Church of Cranbury or the Presbyterian Church of Chestnut Hill Wendy Thode Fund, 8855 Germantown Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19118.
