12th Man TD Club unveils latest player of the week honors

The 12th Man TD Club of Robbinsville has selected the players of the week for week five of the high school football season. The honorees are listed below, along with descriptions of their performances.

Offensive Back of the Week

Cortaz Williams, Notre Dame High School (Sr., RB)

Cortaz Williams had another great performance with four total touchdowns.

He lit it up as both a runner and receiver, carrying the ball 15 times for 204 yards and three rushing touchdowns and catching a 58-yard touchdown.

So far this year Williams is averaging 14 yards per carry. He has also amassed over 900 yards rushing and 17 touchdowns.

Offensive Lineman of the Week

Pat Migliaccio, Hamilton High School West (Sr., OL)

Migliaccio powered an offensive line that paved the way for 267 rushing yards and 431 total yards in a victory over Hopewell Valley Central High School.

Defensive Lineman of the Week

Kenny John, Nottingham High School (Jr., DL)

John recorded five tackles, five tackles for a loss and two sacks in a loss to West Windsor-Plainsboro.

Defensive Back of the Week

Mekhi Gibson, Ewing High School (So., CB)

In a loss to Delran High School, Gibson had two interceptions and a 40-yard run for a touchdown off a hook and lateral play.

Special Teams Player of the Week

Joe Potenza, West Windsor-Plainsboro High School (Sr., K)

Potenza kicked a 31-yard game-winning field goal and punted twice for a 43-yard average in a victory over Nottingham High School.
