The Tinton Falls Borough Council did not pass a resolution urging the state to extend the 2% cap on binding interest arbitration awards during a meeting on Oct. 1. The proposed resolution was removed from the consent agenda and died when no member of the council made a motion to approve the resolution when a separate vote on the matter was considered.
