Davis was diagnosed with Leukemia in March but he battled back after missing the entire preseason and has been able to play sparingly in the last few games.

Offensive Lineman of the Week

Alexis Thomas, Princeton High School (Sr., G)

Thomas helped block for Princeton High School’s first 100-yard rusher in two years in a loss to West Windsor-Plainsboro. He’s a two-year starter who plays both ways and never comes off the field.

Defensive Lineman of the Week

Jaylen Bynes, Notre Dame High School (Jr., DE/NG)

Bynes had 10 tackles, two sacks, four tackles for a loss and two solo tackles. He brought his sack total up to 13 for this season.

Defensive Back of the Week

Deon McLean, Lawrence High School (Sr., S)

McLean had 14 tackles, one deflected pass and an 86-yard kickoff return touchdown in a victory over Steinert High School.

Special Teams Player of the Week

Anthony Yanucil, Robbinsville  High School (Jr., K)

Yanucil hit a perfectly executed onside kick that helped break the 13-13 second quarter tie. Once Robbinsville recovered, it scored the next 35 points of the contest. His other six kickoffs were all inside the five-yard line, pinning Bordentown back in its own territory all night.
