Enjoy a unique improv experience Nov. 1-2 in Metuchen

Pop-Up Improv Theatre is coming to Metuchen on Nov. 1-2, presenting two nights of improvisation theater at the Old Franklin Schoolhouse, 491 Middlesex Ave., Metuchen.

The improv nights will feature New Jersey-based improvisation groups Death By Improv, Parlin; Howdy Stranger, Hackensack; Asbury Improv, Asbury Park; and Contagious Drama, Westfield.

Performances will be held at 8 p.m. Tickets are $25, or $40 for both nights.

In addition to the scheduled performances, Pop-Up Improv Theatre will also offer workshops for children on Nov. 2. The workshop for children ages 9-16 will be held from 1-3 p.m. and the workshop for people ages 17 and up will be held from 4-6 p.m. The cost of the workshops is $10.

The improv experience is made possible by support from the Metuchen Arts Council.
