ABERDEEN–Mayor Aberdeen Mayor Fred Tagliarini presented Resident Sydney Hassan with a certificate honoring his 100th birthday on Oct. 26 at Millennium Memory Care, which is located at 447 Ave., Matawan.
Hassan will celebrate his birthday on Oct. 30.
Since arriving at Millennium Memory Care’s (MMC) facility for Alzheimer’s and dementia patients in May of this year Hassan has been dubbed “The Godfather” by other residents and staff who report that his sunny disposition and singing voice always brighten their day.
Hassan is blessed with a family that often visits and they were instrumental in planning his big day.
