Voters in Middletown, Hazlet, Keyport, Holmdel, Aberdeen and Matawan went to the polls on Nov. 5 and elected members of the school boards in their respective municipalities.
The Monmouth County Clerk’s Office has posted results from the election on its website. All of the results are unofficial until they are certified by the county. The totals as of Nov. 11 do not include provisional ballots that were cast at polling places on Election Day.
Middletown
Three residents ran unopposed for three three-year seats on the Middletown Township Public Schools Board of Education. John Little (7,195 votes), Michael A. Donlon (7,180 votes) and Leonora E. Lacqua-Caminiti (7,053 votes) won the seats.
Hazlet
Four residents are seeking three three-year terms on the Hazlet Township Public Schools Board of Education. As of Nov. 11, the results show that George Theis (1,526 votes), Heather Elm (1,942 votes) and Laura A. O’Hara (2,068 votes) have defeated Edward Barrett (1,537 votes).
Running unopposed for a one-year unexpired term, John Granite garnered 2,293 votes to claim the seat.
Keyport
Five residents are seeking three three-year terms on the Keyport School District Board of Education. Ruth Anne Grabowski (846 votes), Patricia Olsen (605 votes) and Joseph Stahl (569 votes) have defeated Courtney L. White (396 votes) and Alfred A. Litwak (432 votes).
Running unopposed for a one-year unexpired term, Jennifer Tevis collected 811 votes to win the seat.
Holmdel
Six residents sought three three-year terms on the Holmdel Township School District Board of Education. Elizabeth A. Urbanski (1,712 votes), Joseph Hammer (1,707 votes) and Michael Sockol (1,663 votes) defeated Lori Ammirati (1,660 votes), Jaimie Hynes (1,598 votes) and John Martinez (6706 votes).
Matawan-Aberdeen Regional Board of Education
Four Aberdeen residents sought two three-year terms on the Matawan-Aberdeen Regional School District Board of Education. Tara Martinez (1,333 votes) and Kizzie W. Osborne (1,318 votes) defeated John P. Delaney (1,302 votes) and Radmila Grinberg (992 votes). Matawan resident Annette Ascoli, who sought three-year term on the board, ran unopposed. She received 1,245 votes as of Nov. 11.
