Shake Shack announced its first Mercer County location will open in Princeton on Monday, Nov. 18, at 11. a.m. The restaurant is located at 3303 Brunswick Pike, right off of Route 1 and across from the Quaker Bridge Mall.

Shake Shack is a critically acclaimed, modern day “roadside” burger stand known for its 100% all-natural Angus beef burgers, chicken sandwiches and griddled flat-top dogs (no hormones or antibiotics – ever), frozen custard, crinkle cut fries and more. A fun and lively community gathering place with widespread appeal, Shake Shack has earned a cult-like following around the world.

In addition to the classics, the Princeton location will be spinning up a unique selection of frozen custard concretes in partnership with local purveyors:

  • Blackout Cookie – Chocolate custard, marshmallow sauce, The Gingered Peach Bakery Blackout cookie
  • Spoon Feed – Vanilla custard, fudge sauce, The Bent Spoon salted caramel brownie, chocolate sprinkles
  • Pie Oh My – Vanilla custard blended with pieces of The Gingered Peach seasonal pie

As part of Shake Shack’s mission to “Stand For Something Good,” The Princeton Shack will donate 5% of sales from the Pie Oh My concrete to The Jillian Fund, a financial resource for families and children suffering life-threatening illness requiring critical care.

The 3,403 square-foot location will feature an outdoor patio with ample seating for guests. In keeping with Shake Shack’s commitment to green architecture and eco-friendly construction, the Princeton location’s tabletops will be made by CounterEvolution using reclaimed bowling alley lanes; chairs will be designed by Uhuru using sustainable materials; and booths will be crafted by Staach using lumber certified by the Forest Stewardship Council.

Additionally, the first 100 people in line when doors open at 11 a.m. will receive a custom NJ Shake Shack tote.

Shake Shack is now hiring full-time and part-time team members – no previous experience required. Apply online at ShackCareers.com.
