The Center for Network Therapy (CNT) has announced the opening of its third location at 20 Gibson Place, Suite 103, Freehold Township. CNT is New Jersey’s first licensed ambulatory (outpatient) detoxification program for all substances of abuse, including alcohol, anesthetics, benzodiazepines, opiates, stimulants and others. The Monmouth Ocean Regional Realtors announced it has chosen David Reich of Freehold, Berkshire Hathaway Home Services New Jersey Properties Manalapan, as its 2019 Realtor of the Year and Patricia Salzer Beam of Wall Township, Coldwell Banker Spring Lake, as its 2019 Realtor Associate of the Year. Beam has also been chosen as the 2019 Realtor Associate of the Year for New Jersey by New Jersey Realtors. Reich and Beam are being recognized for their effort and work expended in the interest of their community, humanitarian services, in the interest and cause of the Realtor Association, their profession and their clients. Reich has been a licensed real estate agent in New Jersey for more than 39 years. Beam has been a real estate agent for 23 years.
Chelsea Senior Living was well represented at this year’s Health Care Association of New Jersey conference, winning two statewide awards for outstanding contributions to assisted living culture at their respective communities.
Ghandi Owusu-Bempah, a CMA and lead aide at The Chelsea at Manalapan, was named Caregiver of the Year. Owusu-Bempah has won internal awards from Chelsea Senior Living for her outstanding leadership and consistent care rendered to residents. She has mentored new employees, helping them earn their CMA certifications.
Bob Detrick, an eight-year resident of The Chelsea at Brookfield, Belvidere, won the Resident Better Life Award, an acknowledgement of special contributions made to the well-being of fellow residents through friendship, volunteering and general goodwill.
Detrick and Owusu-Bempah received their awards from Jon Dolan, president and CEO of HCANJ, at the annual HCANJ conference in Atlantic City in October.
CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township, was awarded an “A” in fall 2019 Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade, a national distinction recognizing CentraState’s achievements protecting patients from harm and providing safer health care. The Leapfrog Group is an independent national watchdog organization driven by employers and other purchasers of health care committed to improving health care quality and safety for consumers and purchasers.
