NORTH BRUNSWICK – Continuing a tradition from the past seven years, the North Brunswick Police Department will once again take part in “Mo-vember,” bringing attention to men’s health issues.

Officers are allowed to forego shaving during November in order to raise awareness of prostate and testicular cancer, suicide awareness and other issues. Any participating officer is asked to make a donation to such causes, or to a charity of his choice.

Next month, officers will be able to continue their “growths” by donating to the Police Unity Tour, which multiple officers participate in each year.

The public can donate to men’s health issues by visiting moteam.co/north-brunswick-p-d?mc=1. Donations for the 2020 Police Unity Tour, which takes place in May, can be made at secure.e2rm.com/registrant/donate.aspx?eventid=293518&langpref=en-CA&teamID=876742&Referrer=%26Referrer%3ddirect%252fnone

The beard contest page will be available at the end of the month at www.facebook.com/143937249101849/posts/1382203415275220?d=n&sfns=mo.
