Capital Health victorious in HVSA third-place game

HOPEWELL VALLEY – In the third-place playoff game of the Hopewell Valley Soccer Association, the Capital Heath boys’ soccer team defeated Pennington Pizza, 4-0, on Nov 9.

Aaron Nulman, Jeff Blake, Darius Roman and Luke Hemmer each scored a goal in the Capital Health squad’s victory. Roman burst away from the pack to score his goal on a breakaway.

Graham Carter earned an assist with a great pass to the box to set up Hemmer’s goal.

Capital Health controlled the contest in the midfield with strong play from Robert Taylor, Ben Lang, Jason Laliwala and Gavin Gatlett.

Goalkeeper Adam Rise played stellar in net for the shutout victory.

Coach William Nulman said it was one of the best games the team has played all season. The coach was proud of the players who shined in their final Division 3 game of their four-year career.
