EAST BRUNSWICK–The Township Council approved a resolution authorizing the purchase Wet Well Wizard Pump Station Aeration Systems from Troup Environmental Alternatives LLC.
On Sept. 24, the township solicited bids for the purchase of water and wastewater materials 2019 for Reliant Technologies, according to the council agenda.
The Reliant Technologies aeration systems are beneficial to the treatment and maintenance of sanitary sewer wells, pumps and force mains. The systems add dissolved oxygen, reduce the potential for grease formations and reduce odorous gas that may emanate from the station, according to the council agenda.
The council approved the resolution awarding a contract to purchase a Wet Well Wizard Pump Station aeration systems for $62,859.88 from Troup Environmental Alternatives LLC on Nov. 18 during the council meeting at the municipal building.
The township’s Sewer Utility currently has units in two locations and has determined that additional locations will increase the benefits to the overall system, according to the council agenda.
