South Brunswick housing hearing to continue on Dec. 16

SOUTH BRUNSWICK – Following a hearing on Dec. 13 regarding a new housing development proposed by Pulte Homes for South Brunswick, the township will again provide bus transportation for residents wishing to have their voices heard at the next hearing on Dec. 16.

Court-Ordered Public Special Hearings are scheduled for 10 a.m. at the Middlesex County Courthouse in New Brunswick in Courtroom 104 to consider a proposed development at 7 Major Road by Pulte Homes for 152 townhouses, with a portion for affordable housing, near the intersection of Route 1 and Major Road, according to information provided by the township.

Plans and supporting materials are on file with the South Brunswick Planning Department.

Residents may appear at this hearing to voice any concerns they have with respect to the proposed development.

Residents needing transportation to New Brunswick can meet in the municipal parking lot, 540 Ridge Road, Monmouth Junction section of South Brunswick, and be bused to and from the hearing. The bus will leave the municipal lot in front of the Water and Sewer Building at 9 a.m. on Dec. 16.
