American Legion Post 253 in Spotswood sent 28 care packages overseas to active military troops with U.S. Air Force Master Sgt. John Nitch of Spotswood, and the 380th Air Expeditionary Wing, Expeditionary Aircraft Maintenance Squadron out of McGuire Air Force Base/Joint Base – McGuire/Dix/Lakehurst, currently stationed in Kuwait. Bill Baum, commander of the post, received notification the packages were received thanked Legion members and the local community for the generous donations.
