The 2019 Hillsborough Baseball League 7U Team was recognized at the December committee meeting for having played a successful season. Officials said the team was recognized for its “hard work and dedication.”

The 7U team went undefeated in both the summer and fall USABL Baseball Leagues and won the 2019 Fall League Championship. They also won the “Summer Slam Tournament” in Branchburg, “Leather and Lumber Classic” in Neptune, and the “Frazier Halloween Havoc” in Howell.

The 7U team was led by Manager Christian Fulmino and coaches Rick Feltre, Dave Gubitosa, Sanjay Ibrahim, Marko Miladinov and Sam Rozycki.

The team consisted of the following players Ollie Eschenroeder; Michael Feltre; Vincent Fulmino; Joseph Gubitosa; Jacob Ibrahim; Kevin Karatz; John Miladinov; Leo Murray; Niam Nagabhushana; Connor Rozycki; Jack Suarez; and Alexander Wheeler.

Following a proclamation reading from Hillsborough Township Mayor Frank DelCore to honor the team, he said that the team displayed notable qualities in their character beyond their winning season.

“The Hillsborough Township Committee commends the Hillsborough Baseball League 7U Team, the coaches and parents, not only for their successful season but for their hard work, dedication and commitment to the sport and to those principles of good sportsmanship, teamwork and academic achievement which the organization endorses,” DelCore said.
