South Brunswick police seek information on man accused of strangling woman

South Brunswick police are actively looking for Javier Garcia, 37, after he allegedly assaulted a woman on Dec. 26.

The victim was taken to an area hospital where she was treated for her injuries.

Garcia has been charged with aggravated assault and strangulation as a result of the incident.

Garcia is 5-foot 5-inches, 130 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair. He is known to frequent the New Brunswick area and has a previous address in Plainsboro.
