Wreaths placed atop gravesites in North Brunswick

During Wreaths Across American Day on Dec. 14 in North Brunswick, wreaths were placed on the graves of veterans at Elmwood Cemetery, Evergreen Cemetery and Van Liew Cemtery. Pictured: Jill Hipko chose to place a wreath on the gravesite of Ernest W. Weber, who died Nov. 2, 1944, during World War II and was awarded a Purple Heart and a Bronze Star medal for his actions that day; he is a relative of Doris Weber, the vice president of Van Liew Cemetery.
