Old Bridge council to recommend moving school board election back to April

The Old Bridge Township Council, under the recommendation of Councilwoman Debbie Walker and Councilwoman Anita Greenberg, is proposing a resolution forcing the Old Bridge School District to return to an April school board election.
The council is expected to vote on a resolution at 7:30 p.m. on Jan. 13 at Town Hall.
Old Bridge Schools Superintendent David Cittadino sent a letter on Jan. 8 to the mayor and council. The letter explains how this change would negatively impact the Old Bridge district.
