Princeton Day defeats rival Princeton High in boys’ basketball

Princeton Day School earned bragging rights on the boys’ basketball court in Princeton.

Princeton Day was able to claim that right when it scored a 57-43 victory on the road against Princeton High School on Jan. 13.

Guard Jaylin Champion-Adams led PDS in scoring with 19 points, while guard Damien Samuels contributed 13 points and forward Ethan Garita produced 13 points in the victory.

Princeton forward Gefen Bar-Cohen led the Little Tigers with 19 points on the night.  Forward Riley McMahon produced six points and guard Tim Evidente had four points in the loss.

Princeton Day led by a score of 27-21 at the half and built a 40-27 lead after three periods.

Princeton Day improved to 7-4 on the season. Princeton fell to 3-5.
