The Lawrence Hopewell Trail (LHT) as captured by Ewing Township photographer Susan Jacobsen will be on display at the Mercer County Library Branch Headquarters throughout the month of January.
“The photographs capture the LHT in different seasons and at different times of day. I love the play of light on the trail,” said Jacobsen. “I want others to see the trail in its many moods and to enjoy it as much as I do.”
Jacobsen’s photographs have also been on display at a number of local galleries.
“We were delighted when a friend of Susan’s suggested that we collaborate with the photographer to mount a show of her works,” said LHT Co-President Eleanor Horne. “We jumped at the chance. We consider this the first of many exhibitions of photographs, paintings and drawings by artists who enjoy the multipurpose trail that connects Lawrence and Hopewell Townships.”
The Jacobsen exhibition, “Trailscapes: The Beauty of the Lawrence Hopewell Trail,” is the first public exhibition of photographs of the LHT.
