Middlesex County College student paints mural in honor of Dr. King

Middlesex County College student Yazmin Wilkins, of Woodbridge, was one of about a dozen students from the college’s Democracy House service learning program to participate in a Jersey Cares’ mural painting activity at Quibbletown Middle School in Piscataway on Jan. 20. The event brought together more than 100 volunteers on the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service. Jersey Cares is an organization that promotes and coordinates volunteer opportunities in the Garden State.
