The North Brunswick Library will offer the following programs at the library, 880 Hermann Road, North Brunswick:

  • Peaceful Frogs for ages 3-5. Story time and yoga. 1:30-2 p.m. on Feb. 3
  • Vaping information and creating session. Enter a countywide contest. For grades 6-8. 3:30-4:30 p.m. on Feb. 3
  • Preschool storytime for ages 3-5. 11-11:30 a.m. on Feb. 4
  • Crafty Kids for ages 6-8. 5-6 p.m. on Feb. 4. Call the library to register.
  • Story Tots for 6-36 months. 10:30-11:30 a.m. on Feb. 5
  • Movie MaTEENee screening of “Harriet” in celebration of Black History Month. Open to teens in grades 6-12. Snacks will be served. 3:30-5:30 p.m. on Feb. 5
  • Crafty ‘Tweens for ages 9-12. 5-6 p.m. on Feb. 6. Call the library to register.
  • Mindfulness meditation with Dr. Siobhan Gibbons. 7:30-8:30 p.m. on Feb. 6
  • Knitting & Crocheting Club. Children must attend with parent. Supplies will be provided. 10 a.m. to noon on Feb. 7
  • Chair Tai Chi. Noon to 1 p.m. on Feb. 7. Call to register.
  • DaVinci STEAM Club for ages 3-5. 1:15-2 p.m. on Feb. 7. Call to register.
  • All Ages All Day Drop-in Craft for Valentine’s Day. 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Feb. 8
  • Crafty Kids for ages 3-5. 1:30-2:30 p.m. on Feb. 10. Call to register.
  • DaVinci STEAM Club for ages 6-8. 5-6 p.m. on Feb. 11. Call to register.
  • Learn about the current opioid epidemic, recognize the signs of opioid use disorder, understand opioid addiction and learn ways to manage an opioid overdose during a presentation from 7-8 p.m. on Feb. 11. Rutgers Interdisciplinary Opioid Trainers will offer a free presentation.
  • Bad Art Contest for Teens. In collaboration with Mobile Family Success Center, create a messy masterpiece as a gift for Valentine’s Day. Winners who create the worst art will win a prize. Grades 6-12. Pizza and refreshments will be served. 3:30-5:30 p.m. on Feb. 12
  • Free tax help from representatives from the United Way. One-hour appointment required. 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Feb. 13. Call the library to register.
  • Crafty ‘Tweens for ages 9-12. 4:30-5:30 p.m. on Feb. 12. Call to register.
  • Sensory Play for ages 3-5. 1-1:45 p.m. on Feb. 14
  • Valentine’s/Palentine’s Blast. Refreshments, games, crafts. For grades 6-12. 2-3 p.m. on Feb. 14
  • Knitting & Crocheting Club. 10 a.m. to noon on Feb. 15
  • Tuesday Morning Book Club. “Strings Attached” by Joanne Lipman. Visit the front desk to obtain a copy. 10:30 a.m. to noon on Feb. 18
