Serious crash in Monroe under investigation

MONROE – Authorities are investigating a serious crash that occurred on Feb. 4.

The crash occurred at approximately 11:43 a.m. on Mounts Mills Road in Monroe. Patrolman Dan Mosakowski of the Monroe Police Department and Detective Jonathan  Berman of the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office determined that a car was traveling on Mounts Mills Road, near Englishtown Road, when the vehicle crossed a double yellow line and struck another vehicle, according to information provided by Middlesex County Acting Prosecutor Christopher L.C. Kuberiet and Chief Michael Biennas of the Monroe Police Department.

One driver was airlifted to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick and the other driver was taken by ambulance; both are considered to be in serious condition.
