Students in New Jersey have until March 1 to submit their films to The 2020 Count Basie Center Teen + College Film Fest.
The mission of the film festival is to locate, showcase and recognize student filmmakers from seventh grade through college, according to thebasie.org.
Students may submit their films now via FilmFreeway. There is a $25 application fee.
On April 4, selected films will be screened and trophies awarded in several categories, with opportunities for schools to be recognized and for students ages 16 and up to vie for an internship experience with Sony Pictures Classics in Manhattan, according to thebasie.org
