Manalapan zoning board will hear application for two buildings

MANALAPAN – The Manalapan Zoning Board of Adjustment will hear an application at its meeting on Feb. 20 from an applicant who is proposing to construct two buildings on Route 537.

According to a legal notice, Elton Point Partnership has applied to the zoning board for a use variance on a 23.5-acre property on the westbound side of Route 537 (Monmouth Road) near Shira Lane.

The application is for the construction of two buildings on the site (one containing 30,000 square feet and the other containing 63,000 square feet) for a total of 93,000 square feet, to be used for flex space or office/warehouse use which is not permitted in the R-AG/4 zoning district, according to the legal notice.

The applicant is also seeking variance relief for building height where 35 feet is permitted and 40 feet is proposed.

The zoning board meeting will begin at 7:30 p.m. on Feb. 20 in the main meeting room in the municipal building, Route 522.
