EDISON – James Carey, New Jersey Lottery executive director, visited Quick Stop Food Store at 940 Inman Ave. in Edison on Feb. 12 to present the owner, Apexaben Patel, with a ceremonial check for $30,000, representing the bonus commission the store receives for selling the $202 million winning Mega Millions jackpot ticket from the Feb. 11 drawing.

“Congratulations to Quick Stop Food Store and owner Apexaben Patel for selling this winning ticket. The win has made this local Quick Stop a very popular place. It will continue to be known around the country as a very lucky lottery location,” Carey said in a prepared statement.

“We are thrilled that the New Jersey Lottery brand can assist our state’s business owners, large and small, with brand building by offering lottery products that encourage consumer traffic into their stores,” Carey said.

The winning numbers for Feb. 11 were 04, 06, 32, 52 and 64. The Gold Mega Ball was 06. The Megaplier Multiplier was 02.
