Camp Explore at St. Benedict School is created specifically for 3-, 4-, and 5 year-old children who have not yet entered kindergarten. Our focus is to allow our young learners to grow academically and socially in a fun and engaging environment. Campers will enjoy indoor and outdoor experiences designed to engage their natural curiosity, expand their academic skills through interdisciplinary exploration, and most importantly, have fun.
Camp Explore at SBS believes that our youngest children learn best when they are fully engaged in hands-on and minds-on investigations and experiences. We also believe that play is a key component to early development and enables our campers to develop to their highest potential.
Camp Explore is nine full weeks of themed-activities from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. There is complimentary early drop off beginning at 8 a.m.; early day care beginning at 7 a.m. and extended day care until 6 p.m. are available for an additional fee. Snack is provided daily with a weekly ice cream treat on Thursdays. We feature air-conditioned indoor facilities including a play area for rainy days. Plus, our campers can enjoy a great outdoor learning center and natural playscape. Programming includes weekly field trips or visiting programs, art, music, physical education, STEM (science, technology, engineering and math), language arts integration, and a Kindergarten Readiness Track for campers entering kindergarten in September.
Weekly rate is $300 per camper. Registration fee of $25 per family. Register by March 15 and receive an early bird discount. Sibling and multi-week discounts are available, but cannot be combined.
