Historian takes look at old Hollywood film in Ireland on St. Patrick’s Day

Theater historian John Kenrick pulls back the curtain on “The Quiet Man: Hollywood’s Valentine to Ireland” at 1:30 p.m. on March 17 at the Jewish Community Center of Middlesex County, 1775 Oak Tree Road, Edison.

Kenrick is an American author, teacher and film historian. He is an adjunct teacher of musical history at New York University and the New School and lectures frequently on theater subjects.
