Rowan College at Burlington County (RCBC) administrators aim to inform students and staff in response to reported cases of coronavirus in New Jersey.

“For many people, coronavirus incites anxiety, uncertainty and sometimes panic,” Rowan College officials said in a statement. “It also presents an opportunity to inform while drawing from the expertise of Rowan College at Burlington County faculty and staff who have specific insight into the many issues related to the current health emergency.”

RCBC President Dr. Michael A. Cioce said that beginning March 18, he plans to host weekly Facebook Live sessions to update the community and address questions with fact-based information.

“These forums will provide a way to gather as a community to address the many concerns we have, while we practice social distancing to help curb the coronavirus pandemic,” Cioce said. “Our community has many legitimate questions and we hope to answer as many as possible in this forum. We welcome participation from students, staff and the community at large.

“Our faculty members possess extraordinary expertise and we’re grateful that they are willing to volunteer their knowledge with the community,” Cioce added.
