Sayreville coronavirus cases up to six

SAYREVILLE – With an additional COVID-19 case in Sayreville confirmed on March 20, the most recent total count is six.

The Office of Emergency Management team and state/county officials continue to monitor each situation closely, Mayor Victoria Kilpatrick said in a prepared statement.

Moving forward, updates of confirmed cases will be sent out around 2:30 p.m. daily, she said.

“As you are aware, the confirmed cases in New Jersey, Middlesex County and Sayreville continue to rise. I implore you to heed the warnings, follow the mandates and restrictions and practice social distancing measures in an effort to protect yourself and our entire community. Please be safe and stay healthy,” she said in the statement.
