Blue Delivery program helps East Brunswick residents in dire need of assistance

EAST BRUNSWICK – The East Brunswick Police Community Response Unit has put together a Blue Delivery program to help members of the community who are in dire need of assistance.

Specifically, senior citizens age 65 and older who have no transportation or means to get groceries and who are at high risk due to respiratory issues or who are immunocompromised can benefit from the service.

Additionally, families of those with special needs, which include those who are physically disabled and have no other means of transportation, can contact the police department.

Those who qualify may participate by calling ShopRite at 732-257-7575, ext. 3901 or 3902 and speak with Jean Bartels. She is available from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays and Fridays.
