Health departments report 468 cases of COVID-19 in Ocean County

As of the afternoon of March 26, there were a total of 468 confirmed cases of COVID-19 being reported in Ocean County between the Ocean County and Long Beach Island health departments.

Information posted on the Ocean County Health Department website indicates there are 198 cases in Lakewood, 52 cases in Jackson, 20 cases in Manchester and three cases in Plumsted Township.

Lakewood has the highest number of cases in the county. Toms River is second with 60 cases.

The Ocean County Health Department will continue to update the www.ochd.org website each afternoon with daily COVID-19 case totals for Ocean County, according to a press release.

The OCHD is providing a COVID-19 information call line for residents and clinicians to answer questions regarding the coronavirus. The number is 732-341-9700, ext. 7411.
