ERA Central Realty Group and Move For Hunger developed a fundraising campaign to help keep local food banks stocked.
Move For Hunger, based out of Red Bank, is a national non-profit organization that has created a sustainable way to reduce food waste and fight hunger by mobilizing the leaders of moving, relocation and multi-family industries to provide their customers, clients and residents with the opportunity to donate their food to local food pantries when they move.
Move For Hunger also organizes community food drives, participates in awareness campaigns and creates employee engagement programs.
To date, Move for Hunger has collected and delivered 16,603,584 pounds of food in the U.S. and Canada, and provided 13,836,319 meals for people who are facing hunger.
